 Script - Paranoia 

 

Setting mc in ‘abandoned’ building/rooms looking for something, camera pans across the room revealing mc   in search.          

                                 

Mc: urghh.. Where is it                       

 

(Phone rings, camera close up on phone ringing. Medium close up on mc answering phone.) 

 

Mc: hey... I still can't find the stupid necklace 

 

( 2nd character) 

 

2c: remember its got brown pearls and is small, this is very important and you know why, so please find it quickly! 

 

Mc:im trying! This place is so dark so I have to use my flashlight. 

(worried tone) 

 

2c: okay fine but- LAYLA SOMETHING IS COMING INSIDE... IT DOESNT LOOK HAPPY! 

 

(Camera pans to second characters scene- second character standing facing the abandoned building- view of the back of their head.) 

 

(camera back to room scene, close up on mc face) 

 

Mc: what do u mean somethings coming in! I still haven't found it I need more time!! 

 

2c: well u don’t have time hurry up because I think that thing is looking for you... 

 

(medium close up on 2c hanging up and watching) 

(Wide shot back in the room- mc is frantically moving and searching) 

(Still on mc – loud noise coming from back of room/other room) 

Mc: crap! 

  

(mc moves to hide – camera pan to reveal the thing coming in the room) 

(Painted face? /Dark eyes? /rugged looking,, it looks around briskly, sudden movements, hitting things off tables) 

(Camera cut to medium close up of mc hiding- flinches/breathes loudly when hears the thing hit something off a table0) 

(cut to alien close up moving head back rapidly- it hears the mc and walks toward the area) 

(it finds the mc shaking) 

 

Mc:(screams) 

(screen black out music fades)

As a result of the internet I think audiences have a stronger power to some extent than they used to but also the industries have some power due to producing whereas audience really controls the sales and viewing rates of the media product. In my opinion the internet definitely makes the audience way more powerful than 20 years ago. The changes in the music industries have had a drastic change for audiences, some of the changes include; streaming applications, for example spotify, YouTube, music and soundclound these streaming devices have increased the easier abilities for audiences to listen to music which also increase the rate of views on music to.
